Bus Shelter

This shelter is designed to be deployed at various important corner bus stops throughout small to medium American cities. The surrounding context is assumed to be suburban / residential for this proposal. The site is divided into two parts via a slot cut through the ground. The prominent corner roof trellis provides only shade and limited protection from the elements. It is intended to be a point for intimidate loading and unloading only. At the rear of the site the shelter is most substantive providing protection from sun, wind, rain and snow. It is designed to be utilized for waits greater than a few minutes and also as an informal meeting point. Sunken at the back of the site is an area reserved for bike locks.
